NEW BUILD
Our first Magento project was launched in 2009 for the Danish market. It was a jewelry store that is still up and running seven years later after upgrading it to Magento 2! Since then, we have been learning something new during each Magneto Go-Live for more than 250 projects.
Projects are getting bigger and more complex, yet we acknowledge all the previous issues and make sure we solve them before they appear in our subsequent projects. Build with us—avoid dozens of issues and have a predictable and enjoyable build and delivery process!
Adobe Magento is our core specialization. With 250+ projects delivered since 2009, we saw many opportunities to innovate and automate things. We save 500-600 hours and about a month of delivery timeline with tools such as
readymage.com—a 1-click setup for CI/CD environment and dev, stage, and live servers that otherwise take weeks of DevOps work
ScandiPWA—React-based storefront that saves thousands of hours to the entire community as an open-source solution, and we know it from A to Z by being its creators
ScandiPWA marketplace—we introduced Mosaic.js.org to enable plugin mechanism in React and now reuse the extensions, saving weeks of senior developers’ work
Create Magento App—another tool we open-sourced that saves days for local setup
We have a proprietary project discovery and delivery methodology based on System Engineering practice that our team has been learning at MIT and our experience specifically in eCommerce. Our methodology helps to stay on top of multiple stakeholders, 3rd parties, dozens of project components, and hundreds of modules, thousands of tasks, along with acceptance criteria for each of them.
This methodology is also the foundation for a cross-service delivery platform that allows us to successfully implement a full stack of eCommerce services such as technology, UX, UI, data & analytics, marketing automation integration, and traffic acquisition setups simultaneously.
We know that our customers do not just need a perfectly working platform, they need to acquire traffic, run campaigns, re-engage with marketing automation, show relevant products using personalization engines, redesign their sites, make sure that redesign will improve conversions, monitor performance, host in a scalable infrastructure to handle traffic peaks, integrate PIM to handle internationalization and larger content teams as they grow…
We take full responsibility for eCommerce business results and have all the tools and competence to make them remarkable such as platform technology, hosting, marketing, traffic acquisition (SEO, PPC), data & analytics, UX, and UI.
Your new project Go-Live is our mutual goal, but nobody is guaranteed success with a mere platform launch. We know what works and what does not for multiple market verticals, B2C, DTC, and B2B businesses, and we are happy to express it in a strategic roadmap to support your business in your expansion and growth plans.
Usually, our customers sign up for a dedicated growth team of 2-4 people to support their business across customer acquisition, retention, and improvement of overall customer experience. They are agile, efficient, and can quickly run experiments to find what exactly will scale your business to become the category leader.
Usually, our customers have an eCommerce store elsewhere and need to migrate its products, customers, and orders to their envisioned new Adobe Magento platform. We can help with it! We have migrated businesses from Drupal, Hybris now SAP Commerce, Demandware, Shopify, Pro Stores, Sylius, commercetools, and proprietary custom-built platforms.
Read about the migration path on the Migration to Adobe Magento 2 page or reach out to chat and receive an offer.
In 2020, we released a React-based storefront for Adobe Magento called ScandiPWA. It is a headless PWA solution that now takes 50% of all React storefronts in the Adobe Magento ecosystem, with the rest taken by the PWA Studio solution by Adobe.
Our solution is run by brands such as Puma, Adidas Levi's, Shure, MONIN, aden + anais, Buff, and Invicta Stores. Our team is happy to continue enhancing it, supported by a large community of developers and more than 150 agency partners.
Our team is at the core of headless, SPA, and PWA innovation. Talk to us and see what solution is right for your project or explore a dedicated PWA for Adobe Magento service page.
There is no visible progress for weeks, and the Go-Live is delayed again
Site data is not updated, establishing a connection with ERP or any other 3rd party is failing, and there is no progress for a long time
Your current partner does not have the competence and resources to deliver what you need
There is a lack of cross-competence orchestration, designers are not aware of wireframes, the dataLayer is not connected, the SEO team is not scheduled, and change requests and comments are lost and not actioned
The site is extremely slow, pages take 5 to 10 seconds to load
There is no clear end-to-end test strategy to make sure that all processes such as price, stock update, and order management are working correctly
After the initial meeting, we plan a discovery process to analyze the current state of your operations and envision a plan to build or migrate to Adobe Magento 2 platform. We describe and define the objects to be built such as the platform, custom features, SEO, integrations, and dataLayer. The necessary time and effort to build them is reflected in the estimate that is part of the agreement.
We usually suggest launching MVP asap as we have an Accelerator Program, where you can get production-ready Magento 2 on scalable hosting with Cloudflare, and React-theme in under one day and configure necessary extensions and basic look and feel in a few weeks. Once launched, we can build on top of it all the other necessary features, integrations, and connect personalization and AI tools.
Once we start working, we share the project delivery roadmap across all the streams such as graphical design, frontend development, backend development, ERP integration, technical SEO, dataLayer & analytics.
Every week or every two weeks you will be invited to the demo and receive a sprint report with the achieved results summary and an update about where we are on the overall project roadmap.
In addition to sprint demos and reports, we also plan larger milestones within the roadmap that aggregate efforts across streams into a demo build of your project. Milestones are usually as follows
Clean Adobe Magento 2 project is set up on a Staging server with sample data.
ERP, WMS, or similar systems are connected to your new store, and default data starts to be alive with the import of real SKUs, prices, and stocks. Placed basic orders can be received in the ERP system if order export is part of the order flow.
The frontend team has completed your theme, and it is available for review on a separate server instance with default data. After its approval, it is merged to the Staging instance so that your basic data that is now alive and connected to ERP systems is displayed in the correct look and feel, and layout.
Extensions are set up, custom modules are coded, and custom data from the previous platform is migrated.
SEO team has been working in parallel to make sure that all content, metadata, and redirects are set up correctly.
Data & Analytics team ensures that all events on the front are correctly tagged and sent to the data collection platform.
The site undergoes end-to-end UAT and pre-live simulation after the whole scope is delivered and tested internally.
With a new site, it is relatively easy to go live (and if it is a migration process, read more here), we switch DNS records to point to the new site and run a post-Go-Live tests checklist, celebrating the first order to come in!
Project delivery, SEO, UX, and dataLayer teams are monitoring the site during the first week after going live and work in close contact with the customer to make sure that all backend processes are functioning correctly and business metrics are stable.
Celebrate!
Connect the eCommerce growth team for continuous improvement of eCommerce operations and business metrics.
We build on both platforms depending on the customer preference yet we would give a preference to Adobe Commerce due to natively integrated services, tools, and UX advancements that elevate results for the business and experience for the customers.
We, generally, follow the needs of the customers and had 2-week fast delivery, when a customer urgently had to participate in an exhibition to a usually of 4-6 months of a full build with design, technology, hosting, data layer and SEO setups. We strongly discourage planning builds that take longer than 6 months and always offer a strategy to phase delivery into multiple phases.
Standard things are fast and cheap, we have disrupted Magneto ecosystem offering production instances with React storefront on scalable hosting with 1-click and 15 minutes build time. It is readymage.com. Everythign on top of that are things that make each of our cusotmers unique and create bespoke experience for their users.
We are never the most expensive neither the cheapest option our there, we have very competitive hourly rate hiring globally and comprehensive discovery process to account and plan for all of the necessary things and avoid surprises later.
Yes, absolutely. It is stated in the agreement, that there is a one-time project fee without lock-in or code rent. You will need to revise the pricing of 3rd parties though, but we can help with that.
